The first stop of “Daleel Madani Goes On Tour”

Date: February 27, 2019

Daleel Madani, Lebanon’s civil society network, held the first meetup of its tour in Tyre on the 27th of February, at the Imam Sadr Foundation. “Daleel Madani Goes on Tour” is a series of open events that aim to connect Daleel Madani with civil society actors on the one hand, and individuals users on the other.

These meetups, that are taking place progressively across the Lebanese Territory throughout 2019, introduce civil society organisations on ways to use Daleel Madani’s features for maximal visibility and efficiency, as well as coach individual jobseekers on how to use the platform effectively to find professional opportunities.

Members of the Lebanon Support team – including Sana Tarabay (Content and Communications Officer), Dr. Marie-Noelle Abi Yaghi (Director), Lea Yammine (Director of Publications), and Ali Najjar (ICT Officer) – were in attendance to present and answer questions from attendees. Being the first event of many in this countrywide series, the meetup attracted 34 representatives from local and international civil society organisations, and a number of individual users of Daleel Madani, from the South of Lebanon. The morning session, dedicated to civil society actors, and the afternoon session, dedicated to individual users, were both followed by two thorough Q&As. Attendees of this first stop of the “Daleel Madani Goes on tour” were equipped with the knowhow about the features on Daleel Madani which will help them achieve their organisational and professional goals.

The second stop in this series is announced on Lebanon Support’s social media pages (Facebook and Twitter).
