Introduction

The Nahr el Bared Emergency & Recovery Information System is an online platform aiming at consolidating and centralizing all resources and information regarding aid provision to the Nahr el Bared's affected population in North Lebanon. The platform has a multi-layer categorization system, that allows ease of access and is customized to help the users locate information they need in an efficient manner.

"The Local associations working in Beddawi camp held their periodic
coordination meeting in presence of the UNRWA and the UNICEF on
Tuesday July 10th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Nazareth High School in Beddawi.
The UNRWA representative, Mrs. Fatima ABED started the meeting by a
briefing on the previous meeting, its suggestions and recommendations, and
then she detailed the recent updates regarding the summer educational
program."

"During the meeting held in Commodore Hotel by Welfare association and UNICEF on 24/5/2007 in response to the crisis in the Palestinian camps in North Lebanon, the need arose for a coordination mechanism for the relief interventions in this area. Lebanon-support suggested setting up a coordination mechanism.
