The Nahr el Bared Emergency & Recovery Information System is an online platform aiming at consolidating and centralizing all resources and information regarding aid provision to the Nahr el Bared's affected population in North Lebanon. The platform has a multi-layer categorization system, that allows ease of access and is customized to help the users locate information they need in an efficient manner.

The Sixth Early Recovery Inter-Cluster Forum (ERICF) was held at the Quality Inn on December 4, 2008. UN Agencies, international and national non-governmental organizations participated in the ERICF. The forum focused on discussing the results of an environmental assessment of the Nahr el-Bared Camp and the surrounding municipalities which was completed by UNRWA in partnership with UNDP. The consulting firm Earth Link and Advanced Resources Development (ELARD) presented the findings of this assessment and it was followed by a Q & A session.

Fourth Early Recovery Inter-Cluster Forum Minutes

The Fourth Early Recovery Inter-Cluster Forum (ERICF) was held at the Quality Inn on September 25, 2008. UN Agencies, governmental, international and national non-governmental organizations as well as donors participated in the ERICF. The forum focused on The Relief and Early Recovery Appeal (RERA) for the reconstruction of Nahr el Bared, and a presentation on implemented and planned international NGOs (Acted, Premiere Urgence and Norwegian Refugee Council) shelter activities.

Third Early Recovery Inter-Cluster Forum Minutes

The Third Early Recovery Inter-Cluster Forum (ERICF) was held at the Quality Inn on July 30, 2008. UN Agencies, international and national non-governmental organizations as well as Government representatives participated in the ERICF. The forum focused on The Nahr el Bared Reconstruction Plan, the clusters’ assessments results and the OCHA/UNRC Workshop recommendations.

Second Early Recovery Inter-Cluster Forum Minutes

The second ERICF was held at the Quality Inn on 24 April 2008. UN Agencies, international and national non-governmental organizations as well as Government representatives participated in the Forum. As a special guest, Head of the Iraq Office of the Coordination for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), actively participated and provided guidance for the Inter-Cluster proceedings. The main cross-cutting discussion topics were: protection and employment. However, an important shelter/health issue was brought to light, discussed and recommendations on the way forward put forth.
