Introduction

The Nahr el Bared Emergency & Recovery Information System is an online platform aiming at consolidating and centralizing all resources and information regarding aid provision to the Nahr el Bared's affected population in North Lebanon. The platform has a multi-layer categorization system, that allows ease of access and is customized to help the users locate information they need in an efficient manner.

Agenda Item # 1:
• Mr. Le Rutte started by informing participants about the internal adjustments of OSO (Operations Support Officer) at UNRWA, Ms. Helga Spadina has been transferred to another area and will no longer be working in the North; instead the task will be handled by NMU M&E Unit.
• UNRWA is finalizing the OSO functions document which will be translated into Arabic.
• The OSO Unit will be working on reform of UNRWA policies and mainstreaming protection into its services.

1. Discussion on draft ToR for protection cluster and adoption of ToR

Draft ToR were discussed but not adopted because some participating agencies would like UNRWA to be the last resort for protection issues. Since UNRWA has no capacity to be the last resort, it was agreed that agencies will try to find compromise on this part and will send their comments by e-mail before the next mtg.
